MLA College has been awarded the prestigious Digital Business of the Year award at an Awards Ceremony hosted by Devon and Plymouth Chamber of Commerce.
The Awards Ceremony, that took place on Friday 19th May at the New Continental Hotel in Plymouth, recognised businesses that have demonstrated exceptional achievements and innovation in their field.
Other shortlisted companies competing for Digital Business of the Year, sponsored by Wildanet, were BluescreenIT T/A BIT Training and Business Action / Robert Zarywacz, all of whom have made notable contributions to the digital industry.
Representatives of MLA College present at the event included John Chudley, Rector, Glenn Harris, Director of Professional Services, Phil Hughes, Head of Operations, Claire Edgecombe, Head of Sales, Marketing and Recruitment, Lucille Pearce, Head of Programme Services, Jon Scott, Digital Manager, Carlos Martins, Senior Academician and Gemma Harris, Student Recruitment Officer.
In accepting the award, John Chudley, Rector at MLA College said, “This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff who have tirelessly worked towards our digital vision. As we strive to provide the best education experience for our students, we will continue to innovate and adopt the latest digital technologies.”
The Digital Business of the Year award marks a significant milestone for MLA college, as the institution continues to solidify its position as one of the leading providers of maritime education services in the UK.
MLA College was also named a finalist in the Global Player (International Trade Business of the Year Award) in partnership with Azets.
