Jangro, the UK’s and Europe’s largest network of independent janitorial distributors, has strengthened its sustainability credentials after three products from its ntrl cleaning range achieved Global GreenTag Certification, providing independent verification at a time when organisations are under increasing pressure to evidence sustainability claims.
The certification has been awarded to ntrl Cleaner & Degreaser, ntrl Probiotic Multi-Surface Cleaner and ntrl Probiotic Washroom Cleaner following rigorous independent assessment.
Recognised globally, Global GreenTag assesses products against established environmental and health criteria through an independent certification process. It provides an additional level of assurance for organisations looking to make informed purchasing decisions backed by credible evidence.
Jo Gilliard, CEO of Jangro, said: “There’s no shortage of products making environmental claims today, but our customers quite rightly want to know what’s behind them. When we developed the ntrl range, we wanted to create products that delivered on both performance and sustainability, and we knew it wasn’t enough for us to make those claims ourselves.
“Achieving Global GreenTag Certification is recognition of that work and gives our customers that extra reassurance that these products have been independently assessed. It means they can choose these products knowing their environmental credentials are backed by a trusted third party, rather than simply taking our word for it.“
For organisations with environmental reporting or sustainable procurement requirements, Global GreenTag Certification provides verified information that can support product specification, tender submissions and purchasing decisions. It may also contribute towards building accreditation schemes, including BREEAM, LEED and WELL.
The certified products form part of Jangro’s wider ntrl range, which is vegan-friendly, manufactured in the UK and packaged using recycled or fully recyclable materials.
The range has also undergone an independent cradle-to-grave Life Cycle Assessment and is available in highly concentrated formats to help reduce plastic packaging, transport emissions and storage requirements.
Every ntrl purchase also supports Jangro’s 10p Promise, which funds ocean plastic recovery through CleanHub and tree planting through Treeapp.
The certification is the latest milestone in Jangro’s wider commitment to developing products backed by recognised environmental credentials, as part of its ongoing investment in more sustainable cleaning and hygiene solutions.
